What To Do With A Long Weekend

It’s Labor Day weekend.

The excitement mounts, the blood starts rampaging through your veins, and, suddenly…

It’s over.

You’re left wondering, “Where the heck did the time go?”

A friend of mine said that his work was sheer hell, and weekends were sheer hell of boredom.  Now, I know for a fact that he’s got a couple of novels in the works, so I answered his Facebook post with this:  “You’re already sitting at your computer…write something!”

That’s my suggestion to all of you.  Don’t waste your time this long weekend with boring television or vapid Internet surfing!

If you aren’t inclined to write, then pick up a book and read.  It’s as simple as that!  A book can take you to faraway places, or right around the corner.  It can introduce you to people with good character…and people that are absolutely evil!  It can make your heart race with excitement, or make it melt with a heartwarming kiss.  It can teach you how to do something, or tell you about something that happened in the past.

So, pick up a book.  It doesn’t have to be a space-sucking paper edition, either…an eBook can do those things, too.

Speaking of eBooks, I’ve mentioned that I still have three stories that are Amazon-exclusive, simply because I forgot to “uncheck” the box that made them that way.  So, as a result, I have one novel in a Kindle Countdown Deal right now.  Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go – A Justice Security Novel is on sale right now for 99 cents, through Monday.  Beginning Monday, it will still be on sale, but for $1.99.  Next Friday, it goes back up to its regular $2.99 price.

Also, beginning Monday morning, September 1st, The Best Of Justice Security Volume 1:  A Three-In-One Omnibus has its own Kindle Countdown Deal.  It begins at $2.99, remains that way for three and a half days, then is still on sale for $3.99.  The following Monday, it returns to its regular $4.99 price.  So, with that, you’ll be able to get all three Justice Security novels for the price of one!  Good deal, right?

Check ‘em out, and…
